The Truth About Drugs: (Middle & High School)

Can you define what is a drug? Why do people use drugs? Why do people abuse drugs? Are all drugs created equally?

Dan will kick off this program with some fire juggling! He’ll grab everyone’s attention with a little perceived danger before engaging in some serious talk.

Dan will alternate serious talk with exceptional entertainment. Throughout the program Dan will pause his juggling and speak on issues pertaining to being drug free, making good choices, and dealing with consequences.

Dan will introduce himself as being drug free and talk about what it means to be drug free. Dan has never been drunk. Dan has never tried smoking, chew, or vape. You don’t have to climb up from the bottom to have a good story to share and Dan does just that!

Join Dan Kirk on his journey to being drug free. He leads by example. He’ll also share true life experiences about drugs, peer pressure, and saying “NO”.

This popular program is an excellent choice for Red Ribbon Week, an AODA event, Wellness Week, or any day of the school year. AODA money is often available.
