The Truth About Drugs: (Elementary)

What is a drug? Are drugs good? Are drugs bad? Why do people use drugs? Is it sometimes okay to take drugs? Dan will seek the answers to these questions in his The Truth About Drugs assembly program.

Dan will grab everyone’s attention with some amazing juggling and some serious talk. Throughout the program Dan will pause his juggling and speak on issues pertaining to being drug free, making good choices, and thinking about consequences.

“I think the discussion about Red Ribbon Week was great. I like that the program tied into the message very well. The students loved the energy and the fact that your program was interactive. I’d recommend you 100%!”
–Danielle Garceau, School Counselor
Luxemburg Casco School District, Luxemburg, WI

Dan will introduce himself as being drug free and talk about what it means to be drug free. He’ll also share true life experiences about drugs, peer pressure, and saying “NO”.

This popular program is an excellent choice for Red Ribbon Week, an AODA event, Wellness Week, Drug Awareness Week or any day of the school year.

Grant money is often available. Check online resources or ask local businesses for sponsorship. Dan would be happy to work with community businesses to offset all fees.

Dan offers different The Truth About Drugs programs for K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-12th grades. (Addresses the standards for Health Education.)
